What is Ra-65?
Rubber Adhesive RA-65 is a resorcinol-based adhesion resin widely used in the rubber industry to improve bonding between rubber and reinforcing materials, especially textiles and steel cords. It is most commonly used in combination with hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) or similar methylene donors to form a strong resin network during vulcanization.
RA-65 plays a key role in RFL (Resorcinol–Formaldehyde–Latex) adhesion systems and in direct rubber compounds where enhanced adhesion is required.
Properties:
Rubber adhesive RA-65 is methylene donor in bonding system for rubber and steel cord or fabric cord. It can promote adhesion between rubber and steel cord or fabric cord.
Application:
Suggested ratio: 2-5 phr Rubber adhesive VENNOK® RA-65 with 2-5 phr resorcinol-formaldehyde resin(such as RF-20 resin)
Packing:
In 25kgs bag.
Storage:
The products should be stored at the dry and cooling place and avoid directly sunlight. Storage life is 1 year when kept in its original, tightly sealed packaging.
