What is ETU?
Ethylene Thiourea (ETU) is a highly effective vulcanization accelerator used in both natural and synthetic rubber. It provides excellent processing safety with minimal tendency to scorch, while ensuring rapid and controlled curing at standard vulcanization temperatures. ETU produces rubber with superior physical properties, including high tensile strength, good heat resistance, low compression set, and excellent elasticity, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial and commercial rubber products.

Properties:
ETU has a bitter taste and a specific gravity of 1.41–1.45. It is soluble in water and ethanol but insoluble in toluene, gasoline, and carbon tetrachloride.

Applications:
ETU ensures safe and controlled vulcanization with minimal scorch risk. It allows rubber to reach optimal curing quickly at normal vulcanization temperatures. It produces materials with high tensile strength, low compression set, excellent plasticity, and good heat resistance. ETU is suitable for use in both natural and synthetic rubber products.

Packaging:
ETU is supplied in 25 kg bags.

Storage:
The product should be kept in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. When stored under normal conditions, the recommended maximum shelf life is two years.
