What is DCBS?
DCBS (Dicyclohexylbenzene Sulfenamide) is a high-performance sulfenamide-type accelerator widely used in the vulcanization of natural rubber. It offers excellent scorch safety and controlled curing, preventing premature vulcanization during processing while ensuring efficient crosslinking at the optimal temperature. Compared to traditional accelerators like DIBS, DCBS provides enhanced operational safety, improved processing stability, and superior curing performance.
Properties:
DCBS has no unpleasant odor but a bitter taste. It dissolves easily in benzene, carbon tetrachloride, and ethylene chloride, and is also soluble in gasoline, ethyl acetate, ethanol, and acetone. It is insoluble in water
Applications:
DCBS (Dicyclohexylbenzene Sulfenamide) is a high-performance sulfenamide-type accelerator, offering excellent scorch safety and superior vulcanization control in natural rubber compared to DIBS.
